Thanksgiving

My parents came down for a visit for Thanksgiving. What a great time we had together! We went to Melissa's parents for the Thanksgiving dinner - it was great.
Hangin' with Kohl

Kohl's "Drinkachine"

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It's low key and relaxing. I'm thankful for: 1.)Family, 2.)Food, and 3.)Football. Melissa is thankful for the Day After Deals.

Kohl Combing His Hair

Jonathan's Birthday

Melissa's brother, Jonathan, recently celebrated his twenty-second birthday. Here are some photos from the party we had for him at his parents' home.

Kohl's Haircut

Kohl has been going to the same barber shop since his very first haircut. This time he came home with a new style.

Look closely.

Independence Day

On the 4th, we went to Melissa's parents' house for a barbecue. This photo was taken only moments before it began pouring. We brought the grill inside the lanai and finished there. About the time we finished cooking - you guessed it - the rain stopped. At least I didn't burn the burgers...I had a good teacher.

Don't make fun of the apron!

A Day at the Beach

On Saturday we spent the day with our friends, Aaron and Crissy and their daughter, Kayley. We took family pictures at the beach and then went to their house for steaks on the grill. Aaron and I rode their motorcycles for about an hour around the neighborhood. He said that I should get my license so we could go riding more often. We'll see...

A Spiderman Birthday Party

Kohl turned 3 last month and asked for a Spiderman birthday party, which, of course, was the same theme as his party last year. Oh well, we all had a great time. My parents came down from Georgia and brought my brother's two kids with them. Kohl loved having them spend the night. He's still talking about how he got to sleep in his sleeping bag on the floor with his cousin, Andrew.
